I woke up this morning to a song in my head. It is something we all do and usually that song sticks in our brain all morning if not all day long.
A portion of the song is as follows:
I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross,
Well, actually here it is as close as I can get it... please take a moment and worship!
Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness.Open my eyes, let me see.
Beauty that made this heart adore You, Hope of a life spent with You
Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God
You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me King of all days oh, so highly exalted, Glorious in heaven above, Humbly You came To the earth You created, All for loves' sake became poor.
Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God. You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me.
I'll never know how much it cost, To see my sin upon that cross.
I'll never know how much it cost, To see my sin upon that cross.
I'll never know how much it cost, To see my sin upon that cross.
I'll never know how much it cost, Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God, You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me. Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God. You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me.
I'll never know how much it cost to see my sins upon that cross--
The actual title of this Chris Tomlin song is "Here I am to Worship". When we sing it at church, it always takes me to a deeper worship. I can't really sing this without tears flowing down my face.
what my Savior did for me, for you, for each of us is unfathomable. That He knew, he knew what was going to happen on that cross and even before the cross and He chose, yes, HE CHOSE to follow His destiny anyway because He knew the impact on the Kingdom of Heaven. He too, had a will, just like we have our own will, to choose, and not to choose.
What do you choose? To make an impact on the Kingdom of Heaven or the Kingdom of Darkness?
Blessings ~
